RESEARCH PARTICIPATION
Optional canine personality research
Rocha Tech may invite some English North American assessment takers to contribute an anonymous assessment observation. Participation is optional and never changes your result, purchase, report access, or report recovery.
What is collected
- Four-axis scores for Free or six-axis scores for Pro, the result type, and version fields.
- Optional coarse details such as age band, standardized breed key, rescue status, time at home, household dog count, country/region, and living environment.
- A random withdrawal receipt is stored only as a hash so the contribution can be located without an account.
What is not collected for this study
We do not copy the dog’s name, original answers, email, Stripe identifier, private report content, IP address, user-agent, precise location, or marketing identifiers into the research tables. Research is separate from GA4 Analytics and product/report storage.
How observations are used
The unit is one explicitly consented assessment observation. It is not a count of unique dogs. The same dog may contribute more than one observation over time, and we do not try to merge dogs using email, IP address, name, or browser fingerprint.
Only aggregate analyses that pass predefined sample thresholds may be published. Small internal signals remain non-public and are labelled early signals.
Retention and withdrawal
Individual research detail is retained for up to 24 months, then converted into safe monthly aggregates and removed from the individual table. A published aggregate conclusion may remain online after the underlying detail is removed.
Keep the receipt shown after contribution. Clearing browser storage does not erase the server-side contribution, but without the receipt Rocha may be unable to locate an anonymous record.
For a manual privacy request, contact support@rochatechnology.com and include the receipt if you still have it.
Research boundaries
This is an observational product research program, not a clinical, veterinary, medical, or formal academic study. It does not diagnose anxiety, pain, aggression, or any other condition. Any future clinical, academic, or peer-reviewed use would require a separate legal and ethics review before new collection begins.
Consent version: research-en-v1 · Research collection start date: to be recorded when the feature is formally enabled after human privacy review.
